A day in the north of the island. We start with a boat trip around Mnemba Island, snorkelling in turquoise water and looking out for dolphins.

Mnemba is a private island, so visitors cannot go onto the island or its beach. Everything happens on the water around it.

Then we visit a local village to see how families live and work and what an ordinary day looks like. We finish with time to relax on Nungwi Beach.

    Snorkelling in turquoise water and looking out for dolphins.

  3. Village tour

    Everyday life, traditions and the work of the local community.

  4. Nungwi Beach

    Relaxing on one of Zanzibar’s best-known beaches.

  5. Back to your hotel

    We drive you back to your hotel.

  • Mnemba Island is private: we do not land on the island or its beach, and all activities take place on the water around it.
  • The dolphins are wild, so nobody can promise they will appear on a given day.
  • The group price applies from 4 people. For smaller groups we will quote a private tour.
  • Children up to 4 years old travel free. From 5 years the normal price applies, although a discount is possible on some tours.
  • Guides speaking English, Polish, French, German, Italian or Swahili are available on request, subject to availability.
