Zanzibar Roots Tours & Safari is run by Frank, who was born in Zanzibar and has lived in Poland with his family for five years. He organises the tours with his team on the island.
Who I am
My name is Frank and I am the founder of Zanzibar Roots Tours & Safari. I was born and raised in Zanzibar and have more than 9 years of experience as a professional tour guide, sharing the nature, culture, history and hidden corners of my island with travellers from around the world.
For the past five years I have also lived in Poland, where our family home is. I know European standards of customer service well, which helps me understand what our guests expect and respond to their needs.
Zanzibar is not just a place where I work. It is my home and my roots. That is why I want every guest to experience the island the way local people know it: personally and at an easy pace.

Frank lives in Poland, and you can pay by transfer to a Polish bank account or on the day with your guide.

Every tour starts and ends at your hotel.
